The culinary scene in Newmarket is a treat! I savored some delightful Italian dishes that were out of this world, and the self-serve continental breakfast was a great start with quality produce. Spotless room and our charming host Vanessa made it feel like home.
The only hiccup was a light bedroom, thanks to the blinds, but it offered a lovely view of the paddocks too. Plus, the wi-fi dropped occasionally, but it was still alright.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
The breakfast was full of homemade cakes and pastries and it felt like home having coffee in the lovely garden area. Vanessa was welcoming, opened the door with a smile, and made every effort to make my stay comfortable.
It wasn't the cheapest place around but worth it for what you get.

I appreciated the clean room and beautiful garden view during my stay, which enhanced the overall experience. it was a bit inconvenient not having a washbasin in the room and the lack of privacy due to no locks on the doors. there could be improvements regarding furniture, such as having a chair for belongings.

The self-serve continental breakfast featured delightful local produce, including a variety of homemade treats that made every morning special.
The shared bathroom setup was inconvenient as there was neither a hook for hanging clothes nor sufficient space for damp towels.

The room was sweet as, heaps comfy with a lovely view! Just wished the shared bathroom had more hooks for my gear and kept the noise down.

missingWrote a review on 21 Octgarden viewrustic charmlimited amenities
The garden view from the room is genuinely pleasant, adding a sprinkle of tranquility to the atmosphere. The solid wood staircase has a rustic charm, even if it isn't comfortable in socks.
Absence of slippers or a chair upon entry made it awkward to navigate the wood stairs in stocking feet. Rooms lack basic amenities like locks on the doors, hairdryers, and space for damp towels, which can feel frustrating, especially with no place to hang clothes in the shared bathroom. The breakfast setup is subpar, with shared jars of jam that raise cleanliness concerns and only offering limited cereal and toast options, leaving many guests dissatisfied. There's merely a smoke alarm on the landing, making fire safety a worry without proper precautions in place.

Modern comforts with a stunning view
I truly enjoyed my stay, as the room was clean and the property had a gorgeous view over the garden. The breakfast was a delightful continental spread that had everything needed to start the day. I felt a bit uneasy due to the lack of locks on the bedroom doors, making privacy a concern, especially since I was traveling alone.
